Michigan State Police Launch Statewide "Move Over" Enforcement Across Michigan Highways
The Michigan State Police will conduct a statewide Move Over enforcement campaign on Monday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Troopers and local law enforcement officers will focus on drivers who fail to slow down or change lanes for emergency vehicles, tow trucks, and road crews. The initiative comes after 13 MSP patrol vehicles were struck during traffic stops this year, underscoring the importance of protecting those who work on Michigan's roadways.
