Several public meetings and community engagement opportunities are scheduled to take place across Detroit this week, offering residents the chance to participate in local decision-making and community initiatives.
Among the upcoming events are meetings of the Detroit Board of Police Commissioners, scheduled for January 8 and January 15, where residents can observe discussions and provide public input on policing and public safety matters.
In addition, the Detroit Police Vehicle Auction will be held on January 8 and January 9, giving members of the public an opportunity to attend and participate in the auction process.
Community members can also take part in Team GSR Equity Alliance Office Hours on January 6, which are designed to provide residents with information, resources, and opportunities for dialogue on equity-focused initiatives.
Residents are encouraged to attend these events and engage with city representatives to stay informed and involved in local community affairs.
