The Detroit Police Department officially welcomed 26 new police officers during the department’s first recruit graduation ceremony of 2026.
The event, which was shared with the public via a live broadcast, marked the completion of training for Class 2026-A. Family members, department leadership, and fellow officers attended the ceremony to recognize the graduates’ achievement and commitment to public service.
